Kazakhstani car dealers sell almost 12 thousand cars in June
The reason is supply disruptions of cars from Russia.
June was the most successful in car sales since the beginning of the year: Kazakhstani dealers sold 11,418 cars, El.kz reports.
Amid the supply disruptions of new cars from Russia in Kazakhstan, sales of cars of national assembly have increased, the press service of the Association of Kazakhstan Automobile Business (AKAB) reports.
The share of cars localized in Kazakhstan in June increased to 83.5% of total sales, and in quantitative terms, sales increased by 9.2% compared to the first half of 2021.
The greatest demand in June was enjoyed by Kostanay Chevrolet (4104 cars sold, this is + 35% by June last year).
Almaty Hyundai (2529 cars sold, which is + 30% by June last year), popular models - Hyundai Tucson (727), Hyundai Elantra (530), Hyundai Sonata (519), Hyundai Santa Fe (301).
Kia - 1316 cars (-10.4%), popular models - Kia Sportage (566) and Kia Soul (342).
Lada - 1112 cars (+ 8%), a popular model - Lada Granta (512).
Toyota - 756 cars (-45.6%), the popular model Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (314).
Lexus – 333 cars.
In June, cars in Almaty were updated more often (3007 cars), followed by the capital (2474 cars), and Shymkent closes the top three (1393 cars).
In general, according to the association, June was the most successful in terms of car sales this year: Kazakhstani dealers sold 11,418 cars and light commercial vehicles, as well as 436 cars of trucks and buses.
