For 5 months of 2022, exports amounted to 34.2 billion US dollars, an increase of 12.7 billion US dollars or 37.2%, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

An increase in exports is observed in such countries as: Georgia - 7 times (from 12.6 million US dollars in 2021 to 90.2 million US dollars in 2022), Canada - 6.6 times (from 51.8 million US dollars in 2021 to 343.5 million US dollars in 2022), Morocco - 5 times (from 24.1 million US dollars in 2021 to 124.1 million US dollars in 2022), South Korea - 4 times (from 441.3 million US dollars in 2021 to 1.7 billion US dollars in 2022), Japan - 3.3 times (from 125.6 million US dollars in 2021 to 418.9 million US dollars in 2022), Turkey - 2.1 times (from 1 billion US dollars in 2021 to 2.1 billion US dollars in 2022).

In general, Kazakhstan pursues a proactive policy to promote domestic products in foreign markets. The Ministry of Trade and Integration, in turn, applies a wide range of tools to support exports.

As part of the development of non-primary exports, measures are proposed for Kazakhstani exporters to provide financial support through reimbursement of part of the costs, insurance, guarantee and subsidies, as well as through non-financial instruments, support programs, attraction of foreign missions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, development of services with high export potential, adoption of new national standards that meet international safety and quality requirements.

Within the framework of the export acceleration program, it is planned to promote domestic products to Russia, Uzbekistan, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Azerbaijan.

Priority markets remain the countries of Central Asia, Russia and other EAEU countries, China, Turkey, European countries, the USA, Iran. According to this list of countries, the Ministry is actively working to promote domestic processed products: food, metal products, certain types of equipment, fuel.
