Kazakh Prosecutor's Office returns 3 million dollars in case against NSC ex-leadership

In the case against former leaders and employees of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan about three million dollars were returned from Hong Kong and the UAE, the Prosecutor General's Office of Kazakhstan reports, El.kz reports.

Recall, on January 8, 2022, the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported on the detention of former NSC Chairman Karim Massimov on suspicion of treason. It was also reported about the detention of Massimov's deputies - Anuar Sadykulov, Daulet Yergozhin and Marat Osipov. All of them are under arrest

Samat Abish, who was dismissed from the post of first deputy head of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan after the January events, testifies and is under the investigation.
