Kazakh President receives Chairman of Financial Monitoring Agency

According to the data provided to the President, the investigation of 857 cases completed, the damage worth KZT 88 billion tenge was paid. In the field of embezzlement of budget funds, 132 cases were registered, the amount of damage for which exceeded 57 billion tenge, 53 billion tenge was compensated, El.kz reports. 

33 organized crime groups were eliminated as part of fight against shadow economy. 

Thanks to taken measures the size of the shadow economy for the past three years decreased from 23 to 19%.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed about measures to protect private property and prevent the facts of raiding. At the moment, 8 cases are being investigated. In particular, in Almaty, a criminal group engaged in raider attacks of business, the damage from the activities of which amounted to more than 18 billion tenge, was liquidated. 

The Head of State was told about the reformatting of work on the early detection of the activities of financial pyramids. More than 3 thousand sites with illegal content have been blocked. 64 cases were initiated, 7.8 billion tenge was seized.
