Kazakhstan President instructs to increase the salaries of operational and investigative services

From October, 1 of this year the salary of employees of operational and investigative services will be increased , El.kz reports according to Akorda press service.

"We will always pay special attention to the support of law enforcement officers. Over the past few years, the salary of police officers has been repeatedly increased, compensation for rental costs has been introduced. Along with this, akims have the right to establish a 30% allowance for services at the expense of local budgets. In addition, on my instructions, from October 1 of this year, the salary of employees of operational and investigative services will be increased. We will continue to take comprehensive measures to improve the legal and social protection of police officers," the Head of State said.

Head of State believes that the work in law enforcement agencies has to be attractive and prestigious for young people, and generally be recognized and respected  in society. 

In his point of view, it is necessary to encourage, single out and reward distinguished police officers. We need to understand that service in law enforcement agencies is not only privilege and honor, but also a huge responsibility to the people. Therefore, the Ministry of the Internal Affairs has to ensure the continuous improvement of human resources, professionalism and morale of employees.
