Data on net sales by exchange offices was published by the National Bank of Kazakhstan, El.kz reports with reference to the analytical channel of the First Credit Bureau.  

Net demand for the dollar in May amounted to 209.3 billion tenge - 10.6% more than in April.

On the euro - 25.6 billion tenge (+ 4.3%).

Per ruble - 14.2 billion tenge (+ 19%).

As for dollar and euro, net sales were at a maximum since the beginning of the year. In addition, for the second month, net demand for the euro is higher than for rubles.

In 10 of the 17 regions, the total net sales of the three major currencies fell compared to April. That is, the population began to stock up less on currency. And only one has seen significant growth. In Almaty in May, net sales of three major currencies in the city amounted to 91.9 billion tenge against 58.7 billion tenge.

The difference is 33.2 billion tenge, which made it possible not only to cover the fall in the indicators of most regions of the republic, but also to bring the nationwide indicators to plus.
