Shaimardan Nurumov, deputy of Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, visited a friendship house in Almaty as part of his working visit. The deputy heads the Republican Ethno-cultural Centre of Uigurs of Kazakhstan. Therefore, the Parliament’s representative paid special attention to meetings with chairmen and activists of ethno-cultural associations.
During the meeting, the people's representative spoke about the activities of the Parliament, the laws under consideration as part of the work in the Committee on Economic Reform and Regional Development, which represents the deputy in the Mazhilis of Kazakhstan. In his speech, Shaimardan Nurumov emphasized the problems in the field of education.
At the end of the meeting, activists of ethno-cultural associations, who proved themselves in public activities and implementation of social projects, were awarded letters of gratitude from the APK and Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
