MEPs expressed support for political reforms in Kazakhstan

Ambassador of Kazakhstan Viktor Temirbayev held bilateral meetings with members of the European Parliament from Bulgaria –Tsvetelina Penkova and Petar Vitanov, El.kz cites MFA.

During the meeting, the Kazakh diplomat acquainted the MEPs with the latest transformations in the country's political system and the results of the electoral period this year. In addition, Ambassador Temirbayev informed about the current state and prospects for the development of Kazakh-European relations as well as plans for their further deepening.

In turn, the MEPs welcomed the ongoing reforms, noting that it reflects the real desire of Kazakhstan to move along the democratic path of development.

In conclusion, the parties agreed to maintain working contacts on all issues identified during the meeting.
