Kazakhstan's eSports team to take part in Asian Games for first time
The XIX Asian Games will be held in China in the city of Hangzhou from September 23 to October 8, 2023. 45 countries that are members of the Olympic Council of Asia will take part in the competition. This year, for the first time, esports within the framework of the Asian Games will be on a par with traditional sports disciplines, the victories of our esports athletes will be taken into account in the overall medal standings, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Esports Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Kazakhstan will be represented by esports players from the following disciplines: Dota 2, PUBG MOBILE, FIFA 23, League of Legends, Hearthstone and Street Fighter V. The team includes eight people, including Temirlan Baidauletov - QCF employee, head coach.
