Kazakhstan and Jordan mark 30 Years of diplomatic relations

Ambassador of Kazakhstan Aidarbek Toumatov presented to the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan for Diplomatic Affairs Lina al-Hadid a congratulatory message from President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to King of Jordan Abdullah II on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between two countries, El.kz cites MFA.

“I am very pleased to note that in such a historically short period of time our cooperation, based on traditional friendship, has rapidly developed into a strong and reliable partnership,” says the Head of State in his congratulatory telegram.

During the meeting, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan and the Secretary-General discussed topical issues of bilateral relations and interaction between the countries in a multilateral format. Moreover, preparations for the next meeting of the Kazakh-Jordanian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Cultural, and Humanitarian Cooperation were discussed. Following the conversation, the readiness of Astana and Amman to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries was emphasized.
