Kazakhstan and France strengthen cooperation in water research projects
A meeting took place between minister of Water Resources and Irrigation of Kazakhstan Nurzhan Nurzhigitov and Ambassador of the French Republic to Kazakhstan Sylvain Guiaugue discussig issues of bilateral cooperation, El.kz cites the country’s ministry of water resources and irrigation.
It is planned to sign memorandum and a trilateral cooperation agreement with the French Development Agency and the Bureau of Geological and Mining Research
Sylvain Guiaugue noted that French companies are interested in projects for the construction and reconstruction of water facilities in Kazakhstan. In addition, French specialists are ready to help in optimizing water resources and detecting leaks.
"The signing of the memorandum and agreement will be an important step for our cooperation. We are focused on long-term and fruitful work with our French colleagues," Minister Nurzhan Nurzhigitov emphasized.
