Kazakh Minister of Culture and Sports congratulates winners of Tartyl Fest

Minister of Culture and Sports Askhat Oralov visited the grand final of the republican tournament Tartyl Fest, which was held at the Congress Center of Astana, El.kz reports with reference to the facebook page of Askhat Oralov.

- The final of the competition, organized by the DARA Talent Support Foundation, brought together 170 athletes from 20 cities of Kazakhstan. And more than 7,000 athletes took part in the qualifying round.

This makes Tartyl Fest one of the largest events in our country. And not only in sports. I am glad that the President's initiative to promote mass sports resonates with people.

The champions of Tartyl Fest are 9 athletes - the best in their weight and age categories.

I would especially like to mention 11-year-old Mansur Ualiyev from Ust-Kamenogorsk. He had no equal among young men in the weight category up to 55 kg. He pulled up 36 times.

And, of course, Eugenia Nama from Taraz, who set the record of the tournament - 52 repetitions.

I congratulate all the winners. By the way, they will perform at the World Street Workout Championship. I wish our guys to adequately represent Kazakhstan in the international arena.

I think that the next festival will be even more ambitious. I am sure that such events should be held as often as possible," the minister said.
