“Otandastar fund” held an online meeting with the representatives of foreign diplomatic missions and international organizations registered in Nur-Sultan.
During the meeting, the Vice President of the “Otandastar fund” Magauiya Sarbasov spoke about the goals and objectives of the Society and shared his plans for further strengthening the cooperation with foreign cultural and humanitarian organizations.
As part of the event, a presentation of the book “Information on the interaction of diaspora communities and international experience in their support”, has been published in Russian and Kazakh languages with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
A book provides information on the main structures and activities of international and regional international organizations dealing with migration and population. An international experience of diaspora policy, cooperation of ethnic, cultural and immigrant organizations, their official addresses and contacts are indicated there.
A directory includes international legislation, the regulations on the protection of the rights of national, ethnic, religious and linguistic minorities in the field of education, as well as the migration and migration policy, repatriation of ethnic Kazakhs to their historical homeland, and also the regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan were introduced as well.
The directory is intended for the civil servants, diplomats, students, researchers, as well as all readers interested in international relations, foreign and diaspora policy.

“Otandastar fund” NJSC (Non-Profit Joint Stock Company) was established in 2017 on the instructions of the First President – the President Nursultan Nazarbayev following the V Congress of the World Association of Kazakhs.
The Society's activities are carried out in cooperation with the Republican Public Organization “World Association of Kazakhs” in two directions: strengthening the cooperation with national and cultural centers of the Kazakh diaspora and supporting the adaptation of compatriots from abroad to Kazakhstani society.
The founders of the “Otandastar fund” are the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
