"ISSUES OF FORMATION OF ANTI-CORRUPTION CULTURE AMONG ETHNOCULTURAL AND RELIGIOUS ASSOCIATIONS"
President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in his annual Message "New Opportunities for Development in the Conditions of the Fourth Industrial Revolution" pays special attention to the formation of an anti-corruption culture in society, which is detailed in the Ninth Direction "Fighting Corruption and the Rule of Law". With a view to realizing this task, a round table was held on February 2, 2018 in the House of Friendship, in which heads and employees of state bodies, representatives of ethnocultural, religious and other public associations took part.
Within the framework of the event, in an open dialogue format, topical issues of forming an anti-corruption culture in the society, as well as priority areas of activity of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service and Anti-Corruption Activities in the North-Kazakhstan region were discussed. For the most qualitative implementation of this task, the participation of the non-governmental sector is necessary, since representatives of public organizations are the most active part of the population. So, in the light of the implementation of the priority areas of the Kazakhstan Anti-Corruption Strategy for 2015-2025 and the main provisions of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Counteracting Corruption", the powers and extent of participation of the civil sector have been expanded not only in the process of making managerial decisions, but also in conducting anti-corruption activities in the society .
Head of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service and Anti-Corruption Activities in the North-Kazakhstan region Galym Tursunbaev spoke with the theme "Formation of anti-corruption culture among ethno-cultural and religious associations".
Further on the work carried out by religious organizations on the formation of anti-corruption culture in society, said the head of the KGU "Office for Religious Affairs" Muratbek Zeynullin.
Head of Corruption Prevention Department of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs Serik Aydarbekov highlighted the main directions of work on the formation of an anti-corruption culture among ethno-cultural and religious associations in the region, held in 2017, and noted priorities and forms of work with public organizations for 2018.
At the end of this event, a resolution was adopted, which includes recommendations on further cooperation of state bodies with the non-governmental sector.
