Members of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan and chairmen of ethno-cultural associations of Turkestan region took part in the action on cleaning the city.
The environmental campaign was also supported by the members of the Council of Public Accord and Council of Mothers.
About 400 fruit trees were planted along the Kyzylorda highway in Turkestan during the clean-up day.
At the end of the environmental event, Gani Rysbekov, Head of the Secretariat of Assembly of People of Kazakhstan of Turkestan Region called on everyone to contribute to the improvement of the city.
