President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met the motorcade of his Chinese counterpart.
In honor of distinguished guest, fighter jets of the Air Defense Forces of Kazakhstan flew above the presidential palace, leaving behind a red and yellow trail - the colors of the Chinese flag.
After that, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Xi Jinping introduced the members of the official delegations to each other.
Chief of the Honor Guard Company gave a welcome report, and the two countries’ national anthems were performed.
Upon completion of the ceremony, the two countries’ leaders left for the negotiations on the key issues of bilateral cooperation and the international agenda.
