What Foreign Ministers of CA countries discuss on eve of Consultative Meeting

It is noted that Kazakhstan intends to further contribute to the sustainable development of Central Asia

Mukhtar Tleuberdi in Cholpan-Ata took part in the Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Central Asian States. The event was also attended by the foreign ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Kyrgyz Republic, El.kz reports with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The participants discussed the preparations for the upcoming Fourth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States, which will be held in Cholpon-Ata on July 21 this year. The state and prospects for further strengthening regional cooperation in trade, economic, transport, humanitarian fields and regional security issues were also discussed.

 

Tleuberdi in his speech noted that in recent years, interstate cooperation of the Central Asian countries has reached a qualitatively new level and a breakthrough has been made in five-sided relations.

"Kazakhstan intends to further contribute to the sustainable development of Central Asia, strengthening stability and security in the region," the Kazakh Foreign Minister said.
