On behalf of the Head of State and deputies of the Parliament, he congratulated the people and leadership of the friendly country on the holiday, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Majilis.
The Chairman of the Majilis thanked the UAE for the comprehensive support of Kazakhstan from the first days of independence and stressed that the friendship between the two countries has been growing stronger over the years.
Yerlan Koshanov noted that the Emirates have turned into a powerful state with a prosperous economy for half a century. He emphasized the development of constructive bilateral ties between Kazakhstan and the UAE and the strengthening of cooperation in all areas.
- Relations between our countries are developing fruitfully largely due to the consonant policy of the Heads of our States. In January this year, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev paid an official visit to the United Arab Emirates. This meeting set a new level for political dialogue and trade and economic cooperation between our countries. We, in turn, intend to continue this work to deepen the partnership also at the level of parliaments, the Speaker of the Mazhilis said.
Yerlan Koshanov drew attention to the fact that the United Arab Emirates has become a center of advanced technologies, effectively implementing projects for the introduction of renewable energy sources around the world. In this regard, he wished success to the 28th UN Climate Change Conference, which will soon be held in Dubai.
- Similar values and aspirations, constructive policy and mutual respect of the two nations have made Kazakh-Emirati relations a model of fruitful cooperation. And I am sure that the cooperation of our friendly states has great potential," Yerlan Koshanov said.
