The National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan presented 10 exhibits from its collection at the virtual exhibition "Common Heritage of the Silk Roads", El.kz reports citing Kazakh Culture Ministry.
The project is organised by the UNESCO Regional Office in Almaty
The virtual exhibition is hosted on Google Arts & Culture platform.
Currently, the platform cooperates with over 2,000 cultural institutions in 80 countries. It contains the copies of works of art, information about architectural monuments and UNESCO World Heritage Sites as well as digital exhibitions.
The Common Heritage of the Silk Road virtual exhibition consists of 60 outstanding museum exhibits demonstrating the cultural heritage of the Silk Roads from the national museums of Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
