Madi Takiyev has been elected as the new president of Volleyball Federation of Kazakhstan for the period from 2024 to 2028, El.kz reports.
Takiyev thanked the delegates for their trust and noted that the federation will follow the instructions of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev aimed at revising the policy of financing sports.
The Volleyball Federation of Kazakhstan plans to focus on the formation of a sponsorship pool for clubs and federations, the development of mass sports in the country and improving the level of training of domestic athletes.
