First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar announced the number of Kazakhstanis who managed to take advantage of the program of preferential car loans, El.kz reports with reference to MIA "Kazinform".
According to Roman Sklyar, more than 12 thousand people took advantage of the program. He also stressed the importance of the programme from an environmental point of view.
"We have reduced the rate by 50%, the EPR funds will be received. This money will be spent both on environmental measures and on such programs. Programs on preferential car loans and preferential lending to agricultural producers improve the environment. We assist business and our citizens in updating vehicles, thereby improving the environment," Roman Sklyar said on the sidelines of the Government.
He also does not exclude the possibility of additional financing for preferential car loans.
"If there is such an opportunity, we will take advantage. The program is very popular among the population," Roman Sklyar added.
