The opening ceremony of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place in the second largest city of Moldova – Balti, El.kz cites MFA.
The main priorities of the Honorary Consulate will be the support of Kazakhstan citizens, as well as the strengthening of trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian relations between the two countries. The Vice-president of the «JLC» group companies, the founder of «JLC Sut LLC» (Taldykorgan), as well as the CEO of «Food Master lce Cream LLC» (Almaty) Iurie Jardan was appointed as the Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Balti.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Chief of Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova Mihail Barbulat, Mayor of Balti Alexandr Petkov and representatives of the diplomatic corps, the business community, the government and members of parliament.
The Kazakh Ambassador Almat Aidarbekov stressed that the importance of opening the Honorary Consulate as the new stage in the deepening of bilateral relations, which opens new opportunities for development of investments, trade-economic ties as well as strengthening cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
The newly appointed Honorary Consul Jardan expressed gratitude for the high trust shown by the Kazakh side and confirmed his readiness to intensify cooperation between our countries in various spheres.
