21-time champion of grand slam tournaments, Serbian Novak Djokovic addressed the fans who came to his first match at the ATP-500 tournament in Astana (Kazakhstan), in Russian and Kazakh languages, El.kz reports with reference to the championship.com.

“Hi, Kazakhstan!” said Djokovic in Russian, receiving loud cheers from the crowd.

“It’s very nice to be here with you. Thank you for your support,” added the Serbian star, faltering slightly but earning full praise for his efforts – before adding the Kazakh phrase for ‘thank you’ just for good measure.
