The 11th meeting of representatives of the ministries of economy and trade of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States, as well as a meeting of foreign ministers, was held in Uzbekistan, El.kz news agency reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event, which was held in the city of Samarkand, attended by Vice Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Abzal Abdikarimov.
The participants of the meeting discussed the issues of economic development of the UTC member states through the implementation of new initiatives in the field of trade and investment.
A set of issues concerned the development of the digital economy and trade facilitation.
As the Vice Minister of National Economy of kazakhstan emphasized, Kazakhstan is aimed at joint fruitful work with all Turkic states to attract investments in priority sectors of the economy.
Also, on the eve of the 9th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, meeting of foreign ministers was held. The Kazakh delegation was headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi.
In his speech, the Foreign Minister noted Kazakhstan's commitment to its obligations within the framework of Turkic cooperation organizations and readiness to contribute to the further development of cooperation, strengthening the economic and cultural interaction of Member States, as well as enhancing the effectiveness of the Organization.
