Cargo airline Cargolux from Luxembourg began to cooperate with the airport of Astana. The capital's harbor has become a hub for the carrier,  El.kz reports.

The first flight landed in Astana today. It is planned to launch more than 10 flights a week from Luxembourg to cities in China, Japan and Taiwan with a stopover in the capital of Kazakhstan.

The company from Luxembourg is the main European air cargo carrier. Its fleet consists of 26 vessels.
