Doha hosted a business mission of Kazakh exporters, organized by QazTrade JSC with the support of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Qatar, El.kz reports citing the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event gathered over 30 companies from the two countries operating in agriculture, agro-industry, industry and IT. As part of the mission, the participants discussed the possibilities of expanding trade, established contacts with Qatari distributors and importers
Nurlan Kulbatyrov, the deputy General Director of QazTrade met with representatives of Qatar Airways to discuss the development of air cargo, the creation of convenient logistics routes and the improvement of tariff conditions.
It should be noted that lamb exports from Kazakhstan to Qatar increased by 75%. This growth opens up additional opportunities for exporters.
The trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Qatar for the current year amounted to 6.2 million US dollars, demonstrating the stable development of trade relations. The strengthening of economic relations between the two countries emphasizes the importance of strategic cooperation and the development of new areas in trade.
