Kazakhstan introduces new ban on export of petroleum products

The order will come into force from July. 12 of 2022.

In Kazakhstan, from July 12 of this year, a new ban on the export of petroleum products will begin to operate. This was reported in a joint order of the ministers of energy, finance, as well as the chairman of the NSC and the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, El.kz reports.

A six-month ban is imposed on the export of gasoline, diesel fuel and certain types of petroleum products from the country by road. The exception will be the export of fuel in gas tanks provided by the manufacturer of motor vehicles, as well as in separate containers with a volume of not more than 20 liters.
