Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov held a meeting with Governor of the Tyumen Region of the Russian Federation Alexander Moor, El.kz reports.
Issues of interregional and cross-border cooperation within the framework of the development of Kazakh-Russian trade relations were discussed. The trade turnover between the regions of Kazakhstan and the Tyumen Region in January-May of this year amounted to $113.3 million.
During the meeting, issues of cooperation in the transport and logistics sector were considered. In particular, the project for the reconstruction of car cargo-passenger multilateral passage across the state border.
In addition, attention was paid to cultural and humanitarian cooperation, interaction in the fields of higher education, tourism and sports.
