Ambassador of Kazakhstan Margulan Baimukhan was received by Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Jean Asselborn, El.kz cites MFA.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the upcoming political and economic events aimed at the development of Kazakh-Luxembourgish relations. Particular attention was paid to the planned visits of Luxembourg officials and business missions to Kazakhstan in 2023. Issues of effective use of international transport and transit routes were also discussed.
The Kazakh diplomat briefed to Minister Asselborn on the key aspects of the September Address of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, as well as on political and economic reforms aimed at further modernizing the public administration system and improving the well-being of the Kazakh society.
In turn, Asselborn noted the importance of the ongoing reforms in Kazakhstan and stressed the interest of the Luxembourgish side in deepening cooperation with Kazakhstan.
The parties agreed to maintain close contact for the implementation of the planned activities.
