Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Saudi Arabia Madiyar Menilbekov met with the CEO of the Saudi Tadawul Group Khalid Al-Hussan, El.kz cites MFA.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of enhancing cooperation with Tadawul, including the possibility of attracting foreign capital and establishing close relations with Kazakh financial institutions.
Ambassador informed about the investment potential and socio-economic development of Kazakhstan, and briefed about the main activities of the Astana International Financial Center (AIFC). In his speech, he noted that Kazakh financial institutions and representatives of the private sector are showing great interest in interacting with the Saudi Tadawul Group, which represents the largest trading exchange market in the Middle East.
In addition, the Kazakh diplomat highlighted key aspects of the President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s State of the Nation Address “Just Kazakhstan: Law and Order, Economic Growth, Social Optimism”.
In turn, Al-Hussan expressed readiness for comprehensive cooperation with Kazakhstan and international partners to exchange information and provide access to the largest capital market in this region.
