Ambassadors of the Central Asian countries held a meeting at the Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Gulf’s Headquarters with the leadership and representatives of the Council General Secretariat and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, El.kz cites MFA.
During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation issues between the Central Asian countries and the Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Gulf, including expanding trade and economic, cultural, and humanitarian relations within the new “Central Asia – Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Gulf” format of inter-regional cooperation. They also emphasized the importance of developing political dialogue at the highest and high levels between the countries of the Gulf and Central Asia.
In this context, the parties confirmed the importance of strengthening relations between the Council and the Central Asian countries and striving to develop all spheres of cooperation for the benefit of common interests, and agreed to jointly work on the vast expansion of interactions between the two regions.
