Joint Forces Command "West" of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) paid a working visit to Kazakhstan, El.kz news agency reports with reference to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Foreign guests met with the leadership of the National Defense University of the Republic of Kazakhstan where they got acquainted with the infrastructure, material and technical base and curricula of the university.
During the visit, meetings were also held with representatives of the commander of the ground forces of the armed forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Chinese colleagues visited the State Military History Museum, which contains rare exhibits, documents and photographs that reveal the unique pages of the country's military history from ancient times to the present day.
As a result, the parties confirmed their intentions to develop military cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
