The rating was compiled by QS Best Student Cities 2023, El.kz reports.
According to the rating, Almaty takes the 75th place, leaving behind the Gold Coast (Australia), Cairo (Egypt) and Leicester (UK).
Nur-Sultan is located on the 92nd line, ahead of Durham (USA), Ankara (Turkey) and Cape Town (South Africa).
In the ranking among 140 cities of the world, 16 Kazakhstani universities are noted at once. Among them are the Eurasian University named after L.N. Gumilyov, the Kazakh Agrotechnical University named after S. Seifullin, Satbayev University and the Kazakh University named after Al-Farabi.
