Airline prices increased by almost 27% in Kazakhstan

Passenger turnover for 7 months of this year amounted to 10.2 billion passenger kilometer.

In Kazakhstan, airline revenues in January-July of this year amounted to 276.8 billion tenge, against 189.2 billion tenge a year earlier, El.kz reports with reference to finprom.kz.

 The main part of revenues - 270.6 billion tenge - was received through the transportation of passengers in all directions. Another 6.2 billion tenge accounted for the transportation of cargo and luggage. Revenues from the rental of vehicles with crew amounted to 3 billion tenge.

The number of passengers transported by air in January-July 2022 amounted to 5.8 million people - 12.8% more than in the same period a year earlier. Directly in July of this year, 1.2 million people were transported - 7.3% more than in June, and 2.2 times more than in January of this year.

 Most of the passenger traffic in the regional context fell on Almaty: 4 million passengers, plus 8.8% for the year.

 Passenger turnover for the seven months of this year amounted to 10.2 billion passenger kilometer, an increase of 29% over the year.

Cargo and baggage by air transported 12.7 thousand tons - 36.1% less than a year earlier. In July of this year, air transportation of cargo and baggage amounted to 2.4 thousand tons, an increase of 8.8% compared to June.

Cargo turnover amounted to 28.5 million tkm, which is 37.4% less than a year earlier. At the end of July 2022, prices for airline services for passengers increased by 26.6% over the year.
