Akim of Astana Zhenis Kassymbek announced that 9 more new schools will be opened in the city by the end of the year, El.kz news agency reports.
"By the end of this year, we plan to open 9 more schools. Eight of them are schools built within the framework of the national project of the Head of State "Comfortable School", another school is private. These nine schools will create more than 30 thousand student places in two shifts.
For example, 4 schools will be located in the Yessil district, 3 schools in the Nura district, and 2 schools in the Almaty district.
"At the beginning of the school year, we opened 15 new schools. In 2025, we plan to build more than 20 more schools," the akim of the capital wrote
