The President met with participants of the project «100 New Faces of Kazakhstan»

The Head of State drew attention to the fact that participants of the project should be informed about the changes taking place in the world and adapt to the current situation.

Nursultan Nazarbayev emphasized the relevance of the «Spiritual Renewal» program in the era of global changes and highlighted the interim results of its implementation.

The President of Kazakhstan talked about the project on the transformation of the state language into the Latin alphabet, emphasizing the main purpose of this process.

- About 70% of science and culture information is now available in English. We have announced the transition to three languages in our education system. Our young people already speak English. The transition to the Latin script will allow us to enter the developing world of information, the President said.

At the same time, the President focused on the implementation of the projects «New Humanitarian Education» and «Tougan jer».

- If we speak about the development of the Kazakh language, we need to get the world's best knowledge in our language. Within the framework of the project «New Humanitarian Education» the issue of translation of the best 100 textbooks into the Kazakh language is considered. According to the project «Tougan jer». Patriotism begins with a native home and a native land. We love Kazakhstan through our small country. Now patrons in our country are visiting their native land, building kindergartens, schools and hospitals. Overall, more than 720 projects have been implemented in this direction, Nursultan Nazarbayev said.

The Head of the State noted the importance of the project «Geography of the sacred places of Kazakhstan» for our people and noted the tasks of the program «Modern Kazakhstan Culture in the World».

«We know well about the sacred places in the world and their history. Are there any places in Kazakhstan? Now, it has set a task to identify 100 such sacred sites. They will become a tourist destination. Our culture should be recognized all over the world. As well as the «Modern Kazakh Culture in the World», project should present our cultural wealth to the world», - said the President of Kazakhstan.

The Head of State drew attention to the importance of implementing the project «100 New Faces of Kazakhstan» and warned the participants of the meeting that there is a great responsibility from the public.

- You have passed the qualifying round. Voting was conducted online. You are unique individuals. Our independence has given you the opportunity to build up your talents and make the path to the future. You will be an example to the younger generation, Nursultan Nazarbayev said.

At the meeting, participants of the «100 New Faces of Kazakhstan» project shared their impressions on the progress of the spiritual modernization program and told about their achievements.

The President familiarized himself with the achievements of several participants of the project and underlined the importance of the personal development of Kazakhstanies.

The Head of State shared his impressions of world experience in adapting the people to global trends.
